THE UK'S FIRST TEA COOPERATIVE
We're building the UK’s first global tea cooperative, connecting tea drinkers with tea farmers, and rethinking the journey from crop to cup to get a fairer deal for all.
Our mission is to make tea a force for good. We want to build the facilities required to farm, process and pack tea right at origin, rather than in UK factories. That way we'll be creating employment, boosting the Malawian economy and enabling some of the world's poorest tea communities to build a sustainble future for themselves.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Building our own tea supply chain is no easy task. We need to fill a shipping container with tea to secure a direct partnership with the farm we want to work with in Malawi.
We also need to raise the funds necessary to build a processing factory on the farm to enable tea farmers to pick, process and pack your tea on site.
Back our project today and join the LoveTea Cooperative. By preordering your tea it gives us the funds we need to invest at origin upfront, and source incredible tea that's kind to people, planet and your pocket
SO HOW DOES A COOPERATIVE WORK?
A coop is formed by a group of people joining forces to achieve a shared common goal, using their size and power to enable positive social and economic change.
Our common goal is to make tea a force for good. Using our size and collective investment made up of our members' orders (and our own backing) will enable us to build our own tea supply chain.
There are lots of types of a cooperative, so check out our video below to show how the LoveTea Cooperative works.

This project has tremendous potential to make a great positive impact on the lives of tea growing communities in Malawi and Kenya while also bringing you some of the best teas from these countries.
Stephen Rapoport, (Founder – Pact Coffee)
I’m a huge believer in direct trade as a way to unlock incredible quality products, whilst empowering growers in developing countries. LoveTea is another example of this world-changing model in action and I’m proud to support them.
